All the missing submersibles are dead...James Cameron "Titanic Tragedy Similar"

Director James Cameron, who directed the movie Titanic and Avatar series, expressed his position on the U.S. tourism submersible accident.

According to a number of foreign media on the 23rd (Korea Standard Time), Cameron had an interview with ABC of the U.S. regarding the accident of the Titan submersible, in which all five passengers were killed.

Director Cameron said he visited the deep sea near the Titanic 33 times to produce "Titanic." He is also a longtime member of the diving community. "Many people in the community were very concerned about the submarine," he said. "Deep-sea divers have warned the submarine tour company that it is 'too experimental to pick up passengers.'

"I was surprised at the similarity to the Titanic disaster. The captain was warned about the glacier, but sailed at full speed, resulting in the deaths of many people. He also pointed out that the accident was a similar tragedy that occurred when the warning was ignored.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Coast Guard announced that the wreckage of the deep-sea submersible "Titan," which departed with tourists to see the wreckage of the Titanic, was found four days after it disappeared, and all five of the occupants were believed to have died.

Five people were aboard the submarine, including Oceangate Expedition CEO Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, French marine expert Paul Henri Nazole, Pakistani conglomerate Shazada Dowd and his son Suleman. They paid $250,000 (about 340 million won) per person to go on tour.
